Due Dates
Exchange Applications
Students should submit their exchange applications to their Faculty Exchange Advisor by the following dates:

For an exchange in our semester 1, 2009 - Monday, 30 June 2008
Submit applications for the University of California (Berkeley, Davis, Irvine, Los Angeles, Riverside, San Diego, Santa Barbara and Santa Cruz campuses) by Friday, 20 June 2008. -
For an exchange in our semester 2, 2009 - Monday, 8 December 2008
Submit applications for the University of California (Berkeley, Davis, Irvine, Los Angeles, Riverside, San Diego, Santa Barbara and Santa Cruz campuses) by Friday, 28 November 2008.
Attention: If you are applying for the University of California as your first preference you must ensure that you are in Melbourne and able to collect the California application from the Melbourne Global Mobility office at least three weeks after the due dates listed above or you will not be able to apply to the University of California in time.
Melbourne Abroad Scholarships for Study Abroad
Students intending to study abroad other than through the Melbourne Global Exchange Program must apply for a Melbourne Abroad Scholarship to be considered. Exchange students are automatically considered for a Melbourne Abroad Scholarship and should not submit a separate application.
Students should submit their scholarship applications by the following date:

Round 1 - for travel on or after 1 May and before 1 November apply by 31 March*

Round 2 - for travel on or after 1 November and before 1 May in the following year apply by 31 August*
* Where the date falls on a weekend, applications can be submitted on the following Monday. Late applications cannot be accepted.
Study Abroad students wishing to apply for the Melbourne Abroad Scholarship should collect an information sheet and application form from the Melbourne Scholarships Office (Undergraduate) upstairs in the John Smyth Building or download the documents by clicking these links:
It is expected that emails announcing the awarding of the scholarships will be sent:
- Round 1, by early May
- Round 2, by early October

Melbourne Abroad Financial Assistance
Apply for Melbourne Abroad Financial Assistance by the following dates:

Aitchison Travelling Scholarship
You can apply for the Aitchison Travelling Scholarship by the following date:
