Scholarships for Exchange students
Exchange students are considered automatically for a Melbourne Global Mobility Scholarship. No separate application form is necessary. If you are currently studying a modern language at the University of Melbourne you may apply for the Melbourne Global Mobility Scholarship for Language Study. Other funding is also available from faculties, the Australian government and more.

Scholarships for Study Abroad students
Study Abroad students must apply for the Melbourne Global Mobility Scholarship, using an application form available from the Undergraduate Scholarships Office. If you are currently studying a modern language at the University of Melbourne you may apply for the Melbourne Global Mobility Scholarship for Language Study. Other funding is also available from faculties, the Australian government and more.

OS-HELP loans
The Australian government has instituted a scheme beginning in 2005 to lend up to $5,000 to Australian students to study overseas. For more information see the OS-HELP loan webpage.
Other scholarship opportunities
Exchange and Study Abroad students are urged to apply for any other scholarships, which can often be held in conjunction with the Melbourne Global Mobility Scholarships. There are also other funding opportunities such as prizes and bursaries on offer.
