Melbourne Global Mobility For Outgoing Students

Study Abroad and Other Programs

Study Abroad allows you to study at an overseas institution that does not have an exchange agreement with the University of Melbourne. You are asked to arrange your own overseas study program and have your chosen overseas subjects approved by your faculty(s) before you go.

You must apply to take a leave of absence from your degree at the University of Melbourne and will, therefore, not be paying any tuition fees here. You will, however, probably have to pay tuition fees at your host institution.

Planning study abroad

If none of the University of Melbourne Exchange partners are suitable for your needs and interests at present, advice on planning your study abroad is available.
