Download the booklet here (1000kb pdf).
Global connections
Students are expected to complete fifty per cent of the program through at least one other partner university, whether online or by participating in a semester exchange. With six universities to choose from, applicants can take advantage of the GIP's innovative structure, learning about global issues in a truly global context.
Global context
The GIP is a formal course of study that will give you a global context to your degree. It will help you understand topics of critical importance in this globally-connected world; it will allow you to develop your understanding of these topics with fellow students from other countries, cultures, religions, and ethnicity. It will give you an added advantage in seeking jobs after graduation, particularly with companies that have an international outlook. And it will give you some experience in online education, which many predict will be the way of the future, as it has been shown to offer significant learning advantages over the more typical campus-based education.
Innovative structure
An integral feature of the GIP is the freedom for each Universitas 21 partner to offer the program according to their institution requirements. This means that the structure of the course may differ depending on whether you are a Melbourne, Nottingham, UBC, Tec, Lund or Queensland student. If you want to know how you can take part send an email to the coordinator, or contact the Exchange or Mobility office at your campus.
